FRAN REUS
Galería Fran Reus is a space dedicated to introducing emerging artists and young proposals within a consolidated artistic circuit, both locally, nationally and internationally. Since its beginnings in 2016, the gallery has been conceived as a platform which has revolved around the research, work and dissemination of emerging proposals thanks to 'Panorama'.
It is a call aimed to discover new voices on the spanish and global art scene which acts as a bridge for the introduction, development and subsequent consolidation of young artists with quality proposals. In addition, as a member of the Association of Contemporary Art Galleries of Palma, the gallery takes part in important events on the local artistic calendar.
The gallery's programming is also committed to the diversification of languages, focusing on performance-gallery relations. These are generated through the 'Todo Fenomenal' project, a quarterly performance cycle initiated in 2016 and curated by Tolo Cañellas.
Internationalization is another gallery's feature.
Starting in 2018, Galería Fran Reus has initiated a curatorial residency program with the aim of fostering dialogue and engaging with mallorca's vibrant artistic scene. Equally, the gallery has intensified the collaborations with worldwide artists and its participation in global contemporary art fairs such Untitled Art Fair, Kiaf Seoul, Art Rotterdam, Art-O-Rama, ARCO Lisboa, ARCO Madrid or Sunday Art Fair since 2020.
