Strokes and Spaces
This exhibition, titled Strokes and Spaces, proposes the convergence of four artistic practices that, while not having clear thematic affinities, do share certain formal traits in their exploration of image and form.
On the one hand, we discover how the artists work from the idea of landscape (natural, domestic, emotional) and how they frequently use fragmentation and repetition. They also demonstrate an express intention toward plastic and material experimentation that leads them to propose new ways of understanding and practicing the mediums of painting, drawing, and installation.
