CCA ANDRATX

Located in the picturesque town of Andratx, CCA Andratx is one of the most significant contemporary art institutions in Mallorca. Founded in 2001 by Jacob and Patricia Asbaek, this expansive center is dedicated to fostering artistic creativity, supporting international artists, and engaging the public through a dynamic exhibition program.
Covering over 4,000 square meters, CCA Andratx is one of the largest contemporary art spaces in the Balearic Islands. The center includes multiple galleries, artist studios, and an outdoor sculpture garden. The building itself, designed with a minimalist and modern aesthetic, provides an ideal setting for showcasing innovative contemporary art.
One of the highlights of CCA Andratx is its internationally recognized Artist-in-Residence (AiR) Program. This initiative invites artists from around the world to live and work at the center. The residency program fosters cultural exchange and artistic experimentation, often leading to groundbreaking exhibitions within the center.
The exhibition program at CCA Andratx features a diverse range of contemporary artistic practices, including painting, sculpture, photography, video art, and installation. The center frequently collaborates with international galleries, museums, and cultural institutions, positioning itself as a key player in the global art scene.
In addition to its exhibitions and residency program, CCA Andratx hosts workshops, guided tours, and cultural events, making it an essential destination for both art enthusiasts and professionals.
